Ben Shapiro has even made a big list of why he's an awful person, but it even leaves out certain important details and a whole lot of context as to why it in sum amounts to him being a really awful person.
Shapiro lies about how often he's hypocritically butthurt about stupid bullshit
Shapiro owns up to calling people "fascists" but he doesn't own up to being butthurt about the Republicans being compared to fascists. He dishes it out, but he can't take the heat when his team gets criticized.
Shapiro is 'pro-life' and believes life counts... sometimes
One glaring omission from Shapiro's list is his insistence that enemy civilian deaths don't matter which calls into question how much he actually cares about the lives of the innocent. Whenever Ben Shapiro needs to pretend his conservative arguments have moral superiority, he goes back to reiterating that he thinks its important that every woman be forced by the government to bring every conception to birth. But he doesn't seem to think the military should be forced to think too much about civilian lives nor does he think that armed mall cops need to be forced to think too much when they approach unarmed black teenagers.
Ben Shapiro does not see America as a mother to refugees claiming asylum from all over the world. Similarly, depending on the healthcare angle of the day, Ben Shapiro either does not see the point in forcing doctors to perform services or forcing people to participate in nationwide structured insurance plans.
In Shapiro's worldview, the person that has real civil liability, criminal liability and moral obligation is not the doctor, soldier, border patrol or police officer - these people can do what they want with very little oversight. The government's focus instead must be on the unwed rape victim who should be under surveillance and charged with murder if she dares to self-administer an abortifacient acquired online.
Shapiro's stupid hat
Shapiro famously hates rap music, as he admits to in his post, and also has a rather outspoken hatred of people who don't bend the brim of a baseball cap. Ben Shapiro insists this isn't a racist take, and it's not. Similarly, stating that a kippah is an ugly stupid pointless hat and that listening to Schindler's List on the violin is a terrible waste of an evening isn't actually anti-semitic.
It's just a statement of taste and preference. Right?
